Using our website

Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to find information and contact Shared Support Journey in a way that works for them.

Our approach

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is our design and testing target, not a claim that every page meets every requirement.

We review accessibility when the website changes and welcome feedback about anything that is difficult to use.

Features that can help

  • Use the keyboard to move through links, menus and form fields. A visible outline shows which control is selected.
  • Use the skip link at the start of a page to go straight to the main content.
  • Increase the text size with your browser controls. Page layouts adapt to smaller screens.
  • Pause or play the home page slideshow, or move between photos with the labelled arrow buttons.
  • The slideshow respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
  • Images have text alternatives where needed, and forms use labels and error messages.

Testing and limitations

Our checks include page structure, text contrast, keyboard controls and layouts at different screen sizes. We have not completed a comprehensive independent accessibility audit or testing with every screen reader and browser combination.

External websites, social media pages and documents shared outside this website may have different accessibility features. Please contact us if you cannot access information you need.

Tell us about a problem

Call Susan on 0418 870 268, email susank@sharedsupportjourney.com, or use our contact form. You can also ask someone you trust to contact us with you.

If you can, tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. Please do not send passwords, medical records or other sensitive information.

Let us know how you would prefer to receive the information. We will discuss a suitable alternative with you.
